Facilities

 

The TFSS Department has the following R&D Infrastructure and Instrumentation Facilities :
GLC, UV-visible Recording Spectrophotometer, Viscometer, Karl-Fischer Titrator, Laboratory Model Hydrogenator (Hydrogenation of Vegetable Oils), Crystallizer, Electronic Nose, Electronic Tongue, Sensory Evaluation Booth, Laboratory scale fat extraction apparatus, Pilot Scale Batch Type Fat Extractor, Freeze Drier, Deep Freezer (-20oC, -70oC), Walk-in-Cooler, Forming Extruder for Pasta Products and Chocolate Making Machine.
